So as far as we know there is no prebuilt extension ribbon for the screen?

5" is to long the screen is not coming on I connected all three cables, checked it with volt meter all is good going to try to shorten the cable and see

It's worth a shot. To eliminate the problems, I would first start with the easy stuff before resoldering what looks like a headache.

the close ups are going to look like the past pics I posted I think I just got lucky. Try having very little solder on the tip and swipe it across quickly( multiple times if needed) but make sure you have plenty of flux on the connector and the cable

Looks good, I've been afraid of messing up my screen going that route, but seeing how you got it to work I may get a few screens and try it out

man I need a handful of extra screens [smile] where is the best place to buy them? can I buy them straight from evolv?
