Hi guys as title states I think I need a new screen for my skar75 as current one has pixels issues. Are all the DNA screens the same as its $14 delivered & I'd feel confident swapping it over. That screen says for dna200 in the shopping basket. That's on evolve website

if you ordered directly from Evolv, you should be good to go. they all use the same large screen, except the DNA 40.

Cheers chunky, that's all I needed to know, il grab one & swap it myself. Gearbest are trying to fob me off saying its normal to have extra pixels & by the time I send it to lost vape the postage will prob work out more.

gotta love overseas customer service, lol. "extra pixels are normal".  

you sure it's the screen itself and not loose connection to the zif socket on the board the ribbon plugs into? if you want, you can post a pic of the screen. there's debug menu that's pops up in EScribe's device monitor when you click the Evolv logo 7 times ("help" - "About EScribe" - click logo 7 times - open DM and you'll see the hidden debug menu - you'll see "Screen Disconnect" box, a secure screen ribbon will be at 0 seconds. an intermittent connection will show upwards counting.)

Ok I've checks the escribe and the screen disconnect has 0 next to it. So do you think it's actually a screen problem?

I have got a hcigarvt75 that I could pinch the screen out of & test it, then I'd know either way. Only thing is I'm pretty sure the Hcigar has another board above the DNA which the screen is attached to, not 100% it will be removable

Also where I flashed the firmware through escribe & put the new service pack on I lost all the pre loaded settings it came with, is there any way to get that back?

  Good idea. I'm assuming your 'pinch' means removing from the VT75 and testing, and not actually pinching which is also an issue on some mods.

Restore from the latest backup you saved.

Hi, yeah I meant getting the one out of the vt75. I'm thinking for the price of $14 I may just order a new screen. Saves taking my vt75 apart & also I'm going to be selling it so don't want to take apart really.
