I am a chinese

AT first ...
Sorry about my poor English

I have a little Suggestion about DNA200

I usually put my dx200(with DNA200 Chip) in my bag,and
I always forget to press 5 times "fire button" to lock it.

so it was working in my bag....

I think i need a new function .
I hope the DNA200 can limit the continuous ignition time

Maybe 10s or 15s...
That could be safe...

All Evolv boards have a limit of 20 seconds.

No it cannot be changed currently, I think only one other person requested that previously.

You can change the number of clicks to lock.  I use three so it is easy to lock before I put it in my pocket.

There is only a windows version.  You can run it under Linux using the same VirtualBox instructions given in the Mac support thread.

Ohh, i know i can run Windows on VM but native binaries will be much better ^_^
Sadly my notebook is more than 10years old so it can't run virtualization good enough.
It isn't a problem when i'm at home where my main PC is but if i go outside it can be.

In practice, I have found that I havent had the need to access Escribe outside of my home. I have escribe loaded at home and at work. The instance at work has never been necessary, I load it every once in a while just to play.

Once I have a mod configured the way I like it, remembering I can use multiple profiles to cover different attys and/or wire types, I have not found the need to run Escribe for day to day use.

Thats assuming I leave home with good attys that have already proven stable, and I always carry a backup or two.

Agreed Mike. Heck with the new materials tab, you can load up any wire you might ever use and switch any of the wires to any of your 8 profiles on the fly (without Escribe). Even though I'm only using SS 430, I also have Ni200, Ti01, SS 304, and SS316 all loaded in the materials tab just in case.

Cheers,
Steve

Is anyone able to execute EScribe using wine in Linux?
Is there any plans to create a Linux build?

I have a linux pc and have attempted to execute EScribe.exe using wine. No luck. I have tried using both the desktop launch app or from the "wine cmd.exe" command prompt. I get the following error either way:

escribe went funky on me.

i just completed a 2s 18650 build and before i even put batteries in it i plugged in the board to change the battery settings. I did so, then I noticed a new ver of escribe available.  I uploaded the settings, disconnected the mod, then updated escribe.  now the mod tab only has manufacturer's settings and kanthal power limit....nothing else.

i uninstalled escribe and reinstalled the former ver.....still missing controls.

Windows 8 if that's important.

Any help i could get would be appreciated.
